DVD and CD OPTIONS

It has become increasingly popular for people to purchase high resolution wedding images on either DVD or CD. This gives you the ability to print your own photographs at home or take them to a High Street photo printer.

There are a number of pitfalls that you should be aware of and they are as follows:-

• Most photographers retain the copyright of their images and unless you get a written licence from them to allow you to print the images you could fall foul of the copyright laws.
• Even if your photographer gives you a licence to print images, it is more than likely that they will retain the copyright of their images.
• Most good professional photographers will take a great deal of time and trouble when printing their photographs. They will want them to last a long time and be the best quality they can be. Sadly you will not get the same care from High Street printers.
• Most wedding photographers will only guarantee their photos if printed by themselves.
• Although wedding photographers charge more for printing their wedding photographs it is very often a false economy to print them yourself or get them printed at a mass production print shop. You will definitely be getting less of a product and no protection should they fade or discolour in a short time.

Having said all that we are happy to sell both High and Low resolution images on disc as follows:-

High Resolution Images

All high resolution images will be sold on DVD with a written licence to allow you to print and transmit photographs. This licence does not allow you to publish, sell or alter the images in any way. The charges below include the cost of the disc, the cost of writing the images to disc the licence to print the images yourself and VAT.

Package A - £365.00 Package B - £365.00 Package C - £465.00

Please note that that album option 4 and 5 in conjunction with photo package B and C includes a FREE disc of high resolution images and a licence to print.

Low Resolution Images

All low resolution images are sold on CD. These images are for screen use and are designed to help in the ordering process only. They are copyrighted images and will have a bold copyright mark on them. They are of low resolution and therefore poor quality when printed from and only 6x4 inches on screen.

A CD containing low resolution images will be included with all wedding album options as this will help when ordering photos for your album.

They can also be purchased for £25.00 if required.
